Chi
Kung is an ancient system of deep breathing exercises. Its history
can be traced back over 3000 years to ancient China and
has always been used extensively in kung fu.
Master Simon Wong
is
a Chi Kung Master the UK representative of Omei Mountain 100 Day
Chi Kung, and the founder of the Rainbow Chi Kung Institute. He
learnt the complete system from Grandmaster
P.K Ting.
Chi Kung exercises can be divided into 3 distinct types:
Stationary
Chi Kung ( like meditation), moving Chi Kung ( like Tai Chi)
and both combined (100 day Chi Kung) These can further be
divided into three levels:
Soft Style Chi Kung :
which can be used for health and to cure illness.Examples include
Tai Chi, Five Animals and 100 Day Chi Kung. It allows injuries sustained
during kung fu training to be healed.
Hard Style Chi Kung :
can be used in kung fu. Examples include Iron Shirt, Iron Palm
& Iron Head etc. It also prevents injuries during kung fu training.
Advanced Chi Kung :
develops the Chi, so that it can leave the body and can be used
to cure illnesses as well as for kung fu applications.
100 Day Chi Kung is an extremely advanced system which concentrates
on deep breathing, chi circulation and pressure point massage
to improve
health, develop the self renewal functions of the body and aid ones
sex life. Using it for only 15 minutes a day will cause ones
hormone secretion to accelerate enabling one to enjoy prolonged life
and regain youthfulness.
