Universal law karma
Karma is a universal law, and affects everyone and everything on
earth. Karma plays a most important part in buddhism. In this world,
in budda's eyes, nothing is inherently good or bad. Like the sun,
they give the light of their goodness to everyone, good or bad alike.
So, our fortunes in life depend on our own actions; this is karma.
A lot of people believe in karma, but don't wish to be involved
in religion. They don't realise that to believe in karma is to also
believe in buddhism. This is because buddhism deals mostly with
karma. If you understand karma, you understand buddhism; if you
don't, you don't understand life. Buddhism is a way of unstanding
both yourself and others; it is also a way of life.
Karma can be compared to planting a seed in a garden; if you plant
the seed, it will grow. If you don't it will not. Also, if the seed
you plant is a rose seed, it will not grow into a lily flower. By
this, we mean that whatever you do, the same action will return
to you. This is the law of cause and effect. Karma is also inescapeable.
It is like a boomerang; no matter how far you throw it, it will
always return. Like a circle, all will return to you, regardless
of time, whether you believe it or not.
Buddhism looks at people's past karma, the karma that they retain
from past lives. This is why good people will sometimes still have
bad luck - they are "paying off bad deeds from their past lives.
It also explains accidents or tragedies that may seem unfair. In
reality, karma is a totally just force. No matter who you are, you
will always recieve punishment, just as you will always receive
your rewards. Knowing this, perhaps people would work to make the
world a better place. The existance of past lives has been proven
through hypnosis. Situ Wong uses buddhism to spiritually train his
mind and achieve such realisations as those stated; he includes
this in his kung fu, teaching it to his students, making them better
people.
Holy Red Crown Venerable Vajra Master
Sifu Wong has been a pupil for many years of the Holy Red Crown
Venerable Vajra Master, Sheng-Yen Lu, who is the founder of the
Ling Shenjen Foo buddhist sect. Master lu, teaches from the Ray
Tsang temple and currently has over 600,000 students from all over
the world.
Master Lu has taken a great vow and has been instructed to gather
and lead as many people as possible to the buddha/christ conciousness/tao
in order to salvage and liberate all sentient beings from suffering
incurred in the repetitious cycle of birth and death. Master Lu
himself has stated that his purpose is to act as a bridge to connect
heaven and man and through his teachings to shorten the distance
between the two.
Master Lu is a recognised chinese buddhist master, tibetian buddhist
master and taoist master, also having had a long background in christianity.
He is a propogator of the right belief in buddha-dharma, teaching
his students to adhere to good and shun away the bad, to do no evil
but perform virtues deeds and to thereby eradicate their own greed,
anger and ignorence, which in time will allow them to ascend to
the "maha double lotus pond" of the buddha kingdom (heaven).
Students of Master Lu should do this with great compassion and mercy
and should humbly improve and better themselves, persuing the right
results and attaining supreme perfect enlightenment.
The fundamental teachings of buddhism are to cleanse the mind and
heart so as to become pure, the "true-self. The seed of buddha
lies within every one of us, if cultivated diligently we too can
become buddha. It should be known that buddha, against popular thought,
does not mean "god", but rather is the stage reached by
those achieving perfect enlightenment, at which point all knowledge.
"the supreme truth" will be known. Your energy will combine
with the cosmic energy of the universe to form "super cosmic
energy" and you and the universe will become one and the same.
The final realisation and phenomena in buddhism is that "buddha
and I are one".
